International Sport Cooperation Center of Korea (ISC) – British Embassy Seoul to co-host
UK-KOREA GLOBAL SPORTS FORUM – Sharing Best Practice

 

International Sport Cooperation Center of Korea (ISC) and British Embassy Seoul together hosted the UK-KOREA GLOBAL SPORTS FORUM – Sharing Best Practice on 24, March in Seoul.

 

Lord Sebastian Coe, Chairman of the British Olympic Committee and also Chairman of the London 2012 Organising Committee, attended the forum as well as Mr. Yong-Soon Kim, the president of the ISC, Scott Wightman, the British ambassador to Korea and also representatives from the Pyeongchang 2018 Organising Committee and Incheon Asian Games 2014 Organising Committee.

 

Total of 8 British companies, Global Infusion Group, Stadium TM, Icon World, Production Resource Group, ES Global Solutions, Smiths Detection, Octink and Quadratica UK, most of which have plenty of experience of mega sport events such as the Olympic Games attended the forum.

 

The ISC, the host of the forum, has also hosted the ¡°ISC Conference¡± on several occasions to expand international sport networks and facilitate sport cooperation among diverse nations, and is planning to continue to be active this year by hosting the ¡°ISC Conference 2014¡± on April.

 

Mr. Yong-Soon Kim, the President of the ISC, mentioned that the ¡°UK-KOREA Global Sports Forum¡± will give Korean sport officials professional and practical information of mega sport events and also help bring success to hosting International sport events such as the Incheon Asian Games 2014 and PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
